BookShorts Inc. has produced hundreds of minutes of original programming — more than twenty short films (many acquired by, or co-produced with national TV broadcasters); hundreds of artist biographies, news features and book video trailers; an 8-episode nationally broadcast television series and five feature documentaries.

BookShorts was the sole founding provider of video production services to Amazon’s BookSurge / CreateSpace in 2009-2010, producing over 115 unique video book trailers.  Part of the service package included distribution to online portals. Distribution is a key service offering to BookShorts’ clients and sponsors, offered through sister company BookShorts Literacy Program. In addition to TV and film festivals, the company broadcasts from websites and social media networks including its flagship MovingStories.TV plus communities on Facebook, ChaptersIndigo.ca, Barnes and Noble Online and many special interest communities online.
